![]() The chocolate Frosty (and its backstory) will now be my go-to treat on every future visit. He described how the frosty changed him "monumentally", and gave him a new outlook on life! This was a perfect example of how excellent customer service can take an already good experience to a whole new level. It's clear this Wendy's values its customers, providing not just tasty food but also an informative and welcoming service. Honestly, it was fascinating to learn about the Frosty's subtle nuances that elevate it from just being an average milkshake. ![]() Specifically, he went into great detail about why their chocolate Frosty is so popular and delicious. His friendly demeanor instantly made the visit more pleasant and engaging. But what stood out the most was his in-depth knowledge about the products. If I remember correctly his name was "Julien". ![]() The gentleman at the first window, a slightly chubby fellow with brown hair, was genuinely delightful. I had a fantastic experience recently at Wendy's that truly left an impression on me. The lot is behind the stores that line Main St.Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalks are present, but a wheelchair user could likely manage to enter the seating (table) area without much difficulty.Dietary restrictions: The server indicated that the cook could accommodate sensitivities. The children we saw were at least as well - behaved as several adults nearby.Parking: There is a large lot which serves a number of businesses. I wouldn't take a child here but others certainly would and did. Children could certainly eat here, but the language at the table next to ours, for example, was inappropriate for young ears. And it was, without issue.A note: the (literal) red carpet that I see in the eatery's photos as I write this were not in evidence last evening when we patronized this facility.Kid-friendliness: We ate outdoors. When the check did arrive, an app that we didn't order had been added to our bill. I believe our waitress was the server for both other tables, so she's forgiven for needing reminders to bring this, that and the check. The next table over from those loudmouths was equally rude and raucous. The party next to us was a bit demanding and none too quiet. My side salad had 4-5 large pieces of wilting or spoiling lettuce that I pulled out and set aside. His salad was good but the dressing was VERY watery by the end. Hubby ordered Caesar salad with a crab cake added. I ordered beef tips in savory sauce that supposedly made the eatery famous. Silver Street Tavern & Restaurant 2 Silver St, Waterville There WAS a small upcharge, but almost everything I saw on the menu said it could be changed to be gluten free if asked. We will most definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: They had a TON of gluten free options. Caramel drizzled on top, and the cake was probably 2, 3 inches thick. Between the appetizers and the main course we were served a small loaf of bread with dipping oil.We thought about skipping desert, but when our waiter Forrest brought out a platter to show us the desert, I knew we'd have cheesecake. It came with no sides, but it was SO BIG she could only eat about half. I got the caprese stuffed chicken came with roasted baby red potatoes and the vegetable of the day, which happily for me was asparagus. ![]() I had san pellegrino for a drink, and my wife a cloud #9 mixed drink (no idea, very tropical) we had flatbread drizzled with garlic and oil and covered with basil, mozzarella and tomatoes. Was just shy of 100 dollars for the two of us. I felt like the cost of the food, for the quality of what we got was absolutely fair. Also, our hostess lit a tealight candle at our table before we started. My wife and myself went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, after a recommendation from a Co worker. The food was amazing, we were brought ice water right away, as well as a refill bottle if we wanted more. I am NOT a fancy person, but this place was still great.
